Mr Waqar Ahmad

Water Resources Global Practice Lead

Mr Waqar Ahmad is an engineer and water specialist with strong design skills in the planning, execution, monitoring and management of civil projects.

Mr Ahmad specialises in water resources and rural infrastructure and was the lead engineer for Prime Consulting’s year-long irrigation infrastructure development project in Bamyan Province, Afghanistan.

His role involved carrying out site-specific technical and environmental feasibility studies for several different hydraulic structures, including check dams and irrigation canals.

Mr Ahmad has a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Water Resources Engineering.
