Mr Mark Te Hira brings over two decades of real-world experience to his advisory work in risk management and physical security, including time spent in the military as well as in private and corporate security roles.

His expertise extends to threat and risk analysis for operations, including staff, facilities and assets, and developing appropriate risk mitigation strategies and training solutions to drive operational performance.

Mr Te Hira contributes to Prime Consulting’s real-time risk management cell, which ensures all staff deployed by the company, regardless of client, receive continuous risk management support, ensuring informed decision making and rapid response to changing conditions.

Mr Te Hiri served in the New Zealand Army for more than a decade, notably also passing the gruelling Special Forces Commando selection with 1NZSAS Regiment and becoming a training conductor within the Special Operations Training Centre.

He has lived and worked abroad in numerous hostile environments, including the best part of four years living in Afghanistan.
