Project Spotlight - Digital Training in the Caribbean to Aid the Small Ruminant Sector
Prime Consulting provided technical assistance for the Caribbean Small Ruminant Capacity Building Activity, supporting the Caribbean Agricultural Research and Development Institute (CARDI) to boost sheep and goat meat production.
The project built networked training models and digital tools across eight countries. To enable wide reach and practical uptake of trainings, Prime Consulting developed mobile enabled e-learning applications alongside a digital trading platform for small ruminant farmers. These tools supported improved access to training, technical advice and market information.
The programme operated across eight Caribbean countries: Jamaica, Saint Lucia, Guyana, Belize, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Grenada and Dominica. As a result, Prime Consulting developed strong regional networks, and is now equipped to provide flexible, locally grounded support through future assigments in the region, responding to the unique challenges of dispersed communities, limited resources and challenging environmental conditions.

Planate Prime Consulting JV is a US-registered joint venture company, bringing together Prime Consulting and Planate Management Group, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business headquartered in the United States.
Both companies have strong service records, with six decades of proven and complementary success between them, for clients and projects spanning the globe - from Afghanistan to Zambia. Capabilities include infrastructure design, engineering and construction to humanitarian aid, biosecurity and climate adaption.
