Bill is an agricultural and rural development expert, who specialises in agricultural value chain efficiencies within agricultural production systems. He has more than 25 years’ field experience within several countries, including Australia, Papua New Guinea, Cambodia, Nepal and Afghanistan.
Bill joined Prime as its farm management extension specialist in Afghanistan during the implementation of its three-year Agricultural Support Programme (ASP) in Bamyan Province. He is skilled at conducting rapid training needs assessments and developing targeted training packages. Bill harmonises teams to achieve deliverables under challenging conditions. In Bamyan, he successfully developed the capacity of 16 local extension officers across four operational districts.
